Organik Tarım Nedir ?
Organik tarım, insan sağlığına ve çevreye zarar vermeyen ve üretimde kimyasal girdi kullanılmadan, üretimden tüketime kadar her aşaması kontrollü ve sertifikalı tarımsal üretim biçimidir. Doğal dengeyi koruyarak hava, su ve toprak gibi yaşamsal kaynakların ve doğal hayatın korunmasını amaçlayan bir üretim yöntemidir.
Organik tarımda ürün yetiştirilmesi, toplanması, hasat, kesim, işleme, tasnif, ambalajlama, etiketleme, muhafaza, depolama, taşıma ile ürünün tüketiciye ulaşmasına kadar olan diğer tüm işlemlerde, kimyasal madde veya tarım ilacı kullanılmamaktadır. Tüm bu süreç ilgili otoriteler tarafından yetkilendirilmiş Kontrol ve Sertifikasyon Kuruluşları tarafından kayıt altına alınarak izlenmekte ve denetlenmektedir. Tüketici aldığı ürüne ait sertifika ile ürünün kim, nerde, nasıl, üretildiğini sorgulayabilir. Laboratuvar analizleri ile ürünün sağlıklı olduğu belgelenmektedir.
